Ear wax removal

The Association provides our own Wax Removal Service for adults and teenage young people of secondary school age and above. This is carried out using the latest high powered Zeiss Microscope and a vacuum suction machine.

Wax removal method

It is a safe and painless method of wax removal without the after effects of ringing in the ears (tinnitus) sometimes caused as a result of the traditional water syringing method.

The service is provided by our own registered nurses specialising in wax removal, Louise Henderson DipN, NZRN, Libby Cossar  BN, NZRN, Trudy Bruyn NZRN and Liz Lane NZRN.
